Entry Level Designer

Entry level landscape architect needed to perform tasks including, but not limited to:

  1. Site measurements and base map drafting
  2. Custom residential landscape design
  3. Revision of existing designs
  4. Construction detail drafting (fire pits, water features, walls, shade structures, etc.)
  5. Perspective sketches and/or Sketchup 3D modeling
  6. Take-offs for bidding and materials estimates
  7. Attend client meetings in person with detailed note taking

Qualified candidates will have the following skills:

  1. Expert knowledge of CAD drafting programs. Our studio uses PRO Landscape CAD software for most designs. AutoCAD experience is acceptable.
  2. Competence with Sketchup 3d modeling.
  3. Capable of creating accurate base maps from scratch, including location of existing structures and trees, and laser level elevations.
  4. Self motivated and quick learner.

This position will provide experience in all facets of custom residential landscape design and construction. Candidate will learn about an entire catalog of landscape materials.

This position is part-time to start, with likelihood of permanent position in the future. Compensation will also be comparable to experience.
